Anxiety

Anxiety is a natural response to stress or perceived danger, characterized by feelings of tension, worry, or fear. It is a normal part of life and can be helpful in certain situations, such as when it alerts us to potential threats or challenges. However, when anxiety becomes excessive, persistent, or disproportionate to the situation, it can interfere with daily functioning and may be considered an anxiety disorder.  Therapy for anxiety typically involves different approaches aimed at reducing the symptoms of anxiety and improving the individual’s ability to cope with stressors.
